Shiny & Bright
Ahhh….the holidays. Everything so shiny and bright! I should be thinking about sparkly ornaments and other morsels of glittery little decorations….but my brain wants to talk about my favorite glittery item - mirrored walls!
I love to have design tricks up my sleeve and mirrors are my favorite. They are a perfect way to quickly change the mood and size of a room. Mirrored walls can add sophistication and make a space feel twice its size. I’ve been tricked a few times walking into a friend’s home where he artfully had placed a mirror at the end of his hallway. For the first year of knowing him I always thought his house was twice as big as it is!
Antique mirror helps make a space look sophisticated and collected. Love the red chairs against the silvery mirrors. The circle effect in the antique mirror is the true way a mirror would silver and age with time.
How simple? An all white room with two large scale mirrors. Beautiful.
You don't have to adhere the mirrors to your walls to make a statement. Here's a mirrored screen. Now the artwork in the background can be seen twice!
The antiquing on this mirror is very heavy and beautiful. Such authentic antiquing in an eclectic room.

If you're worried about a full mirrored wall application, utilizing a large-scale mirror in your space can do the trick as well!
Not sure if I want to see myself from all these different angles. But WOW, how big this room must feel.
